Yule Cat

Have you picked out your new outfit for Christmas? Not yet.. then you better start looking or perhaps you will receive a visit from this Yule Cat more traditionally known as Jolakottur!

This fully handmade Yule Cat was inspired by the Icelandic folklore of a giant cat that roams villages during the season of Yule, looking for its prey, usually people who have not received new clothing to wear for the holiday.

This Yule Cat features a bell and tinsel cat teaser wand to lure unsuspecting souls into his grasp! He has a tinsel collar and tail as well.

Add a little fun and spooky vibe to your holiday decor this season with this one of kind, handmade art piece!

This decorative doll was handmade using clay, wood, wire, acrylic paints and other materials. Being of a handmade nature, each one is uniquely made for you and no doll is exactly the same. There will be some minor differences in the design but I do my very best to match them as closely as possible to the original you see here.
